Communicate
Step into a story, play a character, invent a conversation. English comes to life through play and exchanges with the teacher.
Discover EnglishPersonalised English experiences at home for children aged 4–10. Through play, stories, making and conversation, we give children meaningful reasons to listen, respond and use English—with a teacher who adapts to how they learn.
Send an inquiryA puppet needs help finding its home. A cardboard town needs building. A pretend café is ready for its first customer.
Our sessions bring English into experiences children can take part in. We use games, building, collage, puppet shows, colouring, stories and movement to explore words and expressions in context.
Children might ask for a colour, give a character instructions or describe something they have made. The language has a purpose within the activity.
Teachers model useful words and sentences, demonstrate their meaning and bring them back in different situations. Children gradually become familiar with how English works through using it, without needing to begin with grammatical labels such as “verb” or “adjective”.
Activities are chosen for the child’s age and interests: what engages a four-year-old may look very different from what challenges a ten-year-old.
Children do not all need the same amount of time with a topic. One may be ready to explore something new, while another needs more opportunities to revisit familiar language.
Our teachers pay attention to what each child understands, what they can use independently and where they still need support. They adjust the pace, difficulty and activities to the child’s English experience, age, interests and confidence.
A topic can continue across several sessions; there is no requirement to finish it in one. If a child wants to return to a favourite game or story, the teacher can use that interest to practise something challenging or introduce new language.
For example, a child who loves playing shop might revisit food vocabulary while also practising colours, numbers and requests. A familiar activity can open the door to something new. Older beginners receive age-appropriate activities with accessible language.
Each session has a purpose and a familiar rhythm: a welcoming start, connected activities and a calm ending.
Within that structure, the teacher responds to the child. They might simplify a question, demonstrate with a puppet, introduce movement or offer a more demanding challenge. Songs and puppets are possible tools, chosen when they suit the child.
We invite children to participate without expecting perfect answers. Teachers allow time to respond and offer support when needed, helping children feel comfortable trying unfamiliar words.
The aim is to create opportunities for children to understand and use English while enjoying the experience.
For English, we strongly recommend two sessions per week.
In our teaching experience, this rhythm helps keep the language familiar between sessions. Children have another opportunity to encounter and use words while the previous activity is still relatively fresh, so less time may be needed to reconnect with what they explored before.
Repetition is woven into different experiences: words from a puppet story might return in a building activity, a game or a pretend shop. Children revisit familiar language while doing something engaging.
One session per week is also possible, although progress may be more gradual and more time may be needed for review. Every child’s progress also depends on their starting point, participation and contact with English outside sessions.
Progress is not only finishing a topic or naming a list of words. It can also mean your child:
These are examples of what teachers can look for, not milestones every child must reach on the same schedule.

A teaching week is a week in which at least one lesson takes place. Weekly resources are provided once that week, regardless of lesson frequency. Home activities are optional suggestions for families.
Our English programmes follow a 12-session learning cycle, giving your child time to become comfortable with their teacher, revisit familiar language and build on previous lessons. At the end of each cycle, we review their progress and recommend the next steps. Every child develops at their own pace.
Each cycle includes 12 paid sessions. Payment is made in full before the cycle begins. The introductory assessment is free and does not count as one of the 12 sessions.
No. Pictures, actions and choices let beginners participate from the start. The teacher offers words and short phrases for support, with room to try when the child feels ready.
Familiar play can help consolidate language. The teacher can add an appropriate new challenge while keeping what engages your child.
We may use books and prepared resources. Sessions centre on purposeful interaction, exploration and the individual child, rather than a sequence of pages to finish.
Step into a story, play a character, invent a conversation. English comes to life through play and exchanges with the teacher.
